Travis is a "seasoned" veteran of the mortgage and financial services industry. He's made a career in all aspects of the lending industry since graduating from the University of Florida in 1996.
Travis has worked for Wells Fargo, AmSouth, SouthTrust and Synovus as both a loan officer and/or branch manager. Florida Hospital Credit Union actively recruited Travis in 2002 for the specific purpose of creating and implementing their mortgage operations.
After successful completion of the project at Florida Hospital Credit Union Travis spent the last six years of his career as a mortgage lender for both community and super-community banks. Travis currently works independently but still has both the support and loan programs one would expect at a large bank allowing him to serve his clients with the excellence they have come to expect from him.
Travis is an active member of the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce, serving as an Ambassador since 2004. In addition, he serves as the moderator for the Chamber's Tuesday Morning "Solutions" Networking group. He has been chosen to join the Chamber’s Board of Directors for 2009. He is also the director for BizBuilders Team, a leading networking and business development group that meets weekly in Winter Park.
In an effort to bring added value to his customers by having as much industry knowledge as possible, Travis also holds both Mortgage Broker and Real Estate Salesperson's licenses for the State of Florida. As part of those licenses, he regularly attends continuing education classes to stay current in these ever changing industries.
Travis was born and raised in the Orlando metropolitan area. He is a graduate of Winter Park High School and the University of Florida. He has worked in several Florida communities since returning to Orlando in 2001. Travis resides in Oviedo with his wife and two children. He is active in his church, Tuscawilla United Methodist and volunteers with local charities on a regular basis.
